Do not use fabric softener in the wash. I also use free and clear. I threw a sheet of Bounce in the dryer with clothes. They smell a little, and disrupts the skin!

I Dreft for the first 6 months or so. Finally came the big jars for gifts and then I started with all the fresh and clear, without softening. I have never used fabric softener, I do not know you Dreft because it softens and the clothes smell to good use.
